Uncommon is a way of life at Northwest Community Credit Union.
We're a not-for-profit financial cooperative measured by our members' satisfaction.
The superior service, compassion, and loyalty we hold for our members and one another makes us Uncommon.
Our History
In 1949, six friends with nothing but a desire to help each other got together over a dinner break at the Weyerhaeuser Company and put $50 in a lunchbox. That same year, the Weyerhaeuser Springfield Federal Credit Union made its first loan.
We may have more members than we did in 1949, but we at Northwest Community Credit Union have held unwaveringly to our commitment to treat everyone with the courtesy, dignity, and respect they deserve.
Our team is dedicated to providing each individual (and our community) with exceptional service, and to help each family find resources to improve their financial future. Our dedication to this mission plays a large role in our rich heritage of serving our region for 70 years.
Our Core Values
Everything we do is driven by our four core values. These values are not just words to us; they are in the DNA of all that we do; from our hiring, training and local community programs to the products and services we provide.
- We are committed to our founders’ vision of honoring the dignity of each member we serve.
- We believe in providing our employees an environment where they can flourish personally and professionally.
- We are dedicated to growing member wealth and well-being through high-value financial products and services.
- It is our duty and pleasure to help our communities thrive.
