How it began:
In 1949, six friends with nothing but a desire to help each other out
got together over the dinner break at the Weyerhaeuser Company
and put $50 in a lunchbox. That same year, the Weyerhaeuser
Springfield Credit Union made its first loan.
And so began Northwest Community Credit Union.
We may have over 89,000 more members than we did in 1949, but here at Northwest Community Credit Union we have unwaveringly held to our commitment to treat everyone with the courtesy, dignity, and respect they deserve. We remain committed to providing each individual and our community with exceptional service, and to helping each family find resources to improve their financial future.
Our dedication to this level of service plays a large role in our rich heritage of serving our region for over 60 years.
Because here at Northwest Community Credit Union, we believe some things should never change.
