In their fifth annual ranking of the Best-In-State Banks and Credit Unions, Forbes magazine recognized Northwest Community Credit Union (NWCU) as consumers’ most highly ranked credit union in Oregon.

NWCU also placed third in Forbes' national credit union rankings.

“It's an honor to be Oregon's top credit union in Forbes' national review of financial services for 2022,” said Northwest Community Credit Union President and CEO John Iglesias.

“The Forbes recognition is evidence that our members value uncommon care and consideration as well as personalized problem solving in financial services,” said Iglesias.

Eugene-based Northwest Community Credit Union serves more than 107,000 Oregon members with locations in Portland, mid-and southern-Willamette Valley, North Bend, and Bend. A new Premier Service Center debuted in the Cedar Crossing shopping center in Beaverton last fall.

“We’re proud to serve our members every day,” said Iglesias. “Of 5,068 credit unions nationwide, only 3.6% were recognized by consumers as stand-outs in service performance, so we’re in excellent company.”

Forbes and market research firm Statistica ranked credit unions and banks nationally, using customer survey data, scoring overall recommendations, satisfaction, and five additional service factors (trust, terms and conditions, branch services, digital services, and financial advice).
