Beginning September 30, 2019, Northwest Community Credit Union will charge $2 for paper statements.
Avoid the service charge by signing up for eStatements.*
Why we Encourage Members to Enroll in Free eStatements
eStatements are free and secure. They arrive to your inbox faster than a paper statement arrives to your mailbox. You can view your eStatements or print them any time from eBanking.
If you have a business or a trust, signing up for eStatements will have a few extra steps. Please call us at (800) 452-9515 or visit a branch for help with business or trust eStatements.
Does this Affect Your Account?
This $2 service charge is for primary statement accounts, including business deposit and trust accounts. Note: every member has a share account (your regular savings account that you open in order to become a member).
The following account types are exempt from the $2 service charge:
- Credit cards
- Trusts
- Account holders aged 17 and under
- “Protected person” accounts (representative payee, uniform transfer to minor, conservatorship, or guardianship accounts)
- Industrial Hemp Accounts
- Individual Development Accounts
- Members aged 62 years or older
When will this service charge go into effect?
The paper statement service charge will be implemented with the September 30, 2019 statement and will be charged with each paper statement after that.
If you don’t have eStatements set up or don’t have an exempted account by midnight on September 25, 2019, the $2 fee will automatically be deducted from your savings account for each printed statement you receive. This will be withdrawn from your account on the last day of the statement period.

More About Your Statements
There is no charge for eStatements, but they’re exactly the same statement that you’d receive through the mail. You’ll receive eStatements on the first day of the month (faster than a paper statement) and more secure than a mailed statement.
eStatements are not automatic—you’ll need to sign up for them in order to receive them. Know that not signing up for eStatements means you’ll receive a paper statement, which will cost $2 per printed statement.
If you have eStatements and you need a printed copy of a statement, you can print any statement within the last two years from any connected printer at your home or office. We can also print statements for you at your local branch—note that this will cost the same $2 service charge per printed statement.
*Only the primary account holder is eligible to sign up for eStatements.
