What to do if Something's Missing
|What's Missing||What to Do|
|Missing Visa cards||If your Northwest Community credit card becomes lost or stolen, don’t waste any time reporting it. If you notice it’s gone during hours that Member Connect is open, just call us at (800) 452-9515. But if we’re not open, you can always call the Missing Card Hotlines. For missing credit cards, call (844) 267-2735.|
|Missing debit cards||If your Northwest Community debit card becomes lost or stolen, don’t waste any time reporting it. If you notice it’s gone during hours that Member Connect is open, just call us at (800) 452-9515. But if we’re not open, you can always call the Missing Card Hotline. For missing debit cards, call (800) 472-3272.|
|Missing checks||Report missing checks or checkbooks to your local branch or call Member Connect at (800) 452-9515. They can help you place a hold on any remaining checks that could be used by thieves.|
|Card left at ATM|
Northwest Community members who leave their card at one of our ATMs should call us and have a hold put on their card. After a few seconds the machine will set your card aside and keep it safe, but before then it may be possible for someone else to take your card. We will notify you when we recover your card.
Northwest Community members who leave their card at a non-Northwest Community ATM should call us immediately, cancel their card and order a new one. The ATM owner is required to destroy a non-customer card upon discovery.
Non-members who leave a card at one of our ATMs should call their financial institution immediately, cancel the card and order a new one. We are required to destroy the cards of non-members who leave their cards in our ATMs.
|Missing Membership Card||If your membership card becomes lost, you can request that we send you a new one. Call Member Connect at (800) 452-9515.|
|Missing statements||If you suspect that a statement has gone missing in the mail, give Member Connect a call at (800) 452-9515. Please keep in mind that the statements for some accounts (savings, CDs, some others) are delivered every three months instead of monthly. Also, if you’ve signed up for eStatements, you will no longer receive account statements in the mail (eStatements are retrieved through our eBanking).|
Tax statements are delivered between mid January and mid February. You may not receive a statement if your accounts earned less than $10 total in interest in the previous year.
|Left something at a branch||If you left something at one of our branches, please visit the branch in question during their hours of operation.|
