I strive to provide uncommon care to our members in all aspects of their investment search. My investment approach with members evaluates current and future needs. We not only need to talk about the appropriate investment options, but also how to protect against the unexpected.

During my five years in financial services, I’ve been challenged on a daily basis to provide problem solving for numerous opportunities and challenges. I may meet in the morning with an 18-year-old to set up a Roth IRA and in the afternoon to help rollover a 401(k) for pre-retiree.

I pride myself on working with and educating members to promote a truly enjoyable relationship. Before serving members at Northwest Community Credit Union, I worked as a certified teacher in the Springfield School District. Lessons learned in the classroom have served me well to foster relationships with Northwest Community Credit Union members. If you walk by my office and peek in, it probably looks more like an interactive teacher/student classroom setting. I think anyone would be impressed and comfortable with the whole process.

I’m a native Oregonian, raised in the lumber town of Springfield. After graduating from Thurston High School, I attended the University of Oregon where I studied public relations and communications. I worked on my Master’s degree in secondary education while living in Portland and working full-time. My financial services career began with New York Life in Eugene. After a few years of helping local residents with their life insurance needs, I made the move toward a more expanded position with Northwest Community Credit Union.

I welcome our members to visit and discuss their goals, dreams and fears. Together we will create an investment roadmap to never lose sight of the global economy and the need for flexibility.
