Board Director Richard Leung has served as an NWCU board director since 2011, including terms as Co-Vice Chair (2011–2018); and Chairman of the Governance Committee (2019–2021).

Richard has worked for the Weyerhaeuser Company for more than 41 years. He is currently the company’s Oregon marketing planner and analyst, a position he’s held since 2007. Previously, he was Weyerhaeuser’s financial manager in North Carolina for 10 years. He has also filled various financial roles for the company in Washington and Arkansas.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and business, with an emphasis in accounting, from Hendrix College (Conway, AR).

In his leisure time, Richard enjoys spending time with family, camping, going to the beach, working in the yard, taking walks with the dog, active in the church, watching sporting events / activities.
